Mindy Butler-Christensen is a Phoenix-based immigration attorney and the founder of Encanto Law. She has been a licensed attorney since 2009 and has focused her legal practice on immigration law since 2015. Prior to dedicating her work exclusively to immigration matters, she practiced municipal law and estate planning, developing a strong foundation in legal analysis and client advocacy.

Mindy earned her law degree from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, where she served as an editor of the Arizona Law Review. She graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Arts in English Composition and Rhetoric and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Studies. Her academic background strengthens her ability to communicate complex legal issues with clarity and precision.

Before founding Encanto Law, Mindy worked in private law firms, nonprofit organizations, and academic settings. Her experience living and working in Guatemala deepened her understanding of migration, culture, and the challenges faced by immigrant communities.

An Arizona native, Mindy is fluent in Spanish and is a committed ally of immigrant and LGBTQ+ communities. She approaches each case with integrity, compassion, and careful attention, guiding individuals and families through the immigration process with professionalism and respect.
